Vekeno Kennedy started her legal career in California practicing in the areas of business and construction defects litigation, and real estate transactions. She has held in-house counsel roles of two privately held real estate companies, and a publicly registered real estate investment trust (REIT). In her current practice areas, Ms. Kennedy focuses on drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements for commercial properties, as well as office, retail, warehouse and ground leases. Ms. Kennedy also represents clients in the areas of finance and development of commercial properties and provides general counsel services for companies with no in-house legal team.
