Justin Pruitt

Attorney

With over ten years of experience, Justin serves our Land Use & Zoning clients with an extensive background in all land use, zoning, platting, variances, development agreements, easements, deed restrictions, and all other types of related matters. He has represented several municipalities and local governmental entities in all areas of local government law while utilizing his land use and economic development background.

Justin’s prior experience before joining Wilson Cribbs + Goren allows him to assist clients with the appropriate utilization of economic development tools including tax abatement, tax increment financing, free port exemptions, foreign trade zones, hotel occupancy taxes, economic development corporations, sales tax reimbursement, and all other types of development agreements. Additionally, he negotiates and drafts economic development grants and incentives under Chapter 380 of the Local Government Code and documents related to public improvement districts, tax increment reinvestment zones, local government corporations, and municipal management districts.

 

Justin received his undergraduate degree from Texas Tech University.  He later went on to obtain his Master’s degree from the University of Texas Arlington where he graduated Summa Cum Laude, and then his Juris Doctor from Texas A&M University Law School in 2013.
